Farmer - Abed Oudi (read about him below 👇)
Abed has lived his entire life in Bazariya, where he and his family built a small production center to press oil from their own groves. It is one of the few remaining places in Palestine that still uses ancient millstones. Over time, it has become a local hub where farmers from the surrounding hills come to craft their oil.
Driven by patience and pride, Abed learned to nurture every olive tree by hand. His first press was a moment of triumph — a dream turned into a lifelong craft. For him, the rhythm of village life follows the harvest, and the scent of fresh olives defines home.
Farming Method: Organic practices, traditional methods, rain-fed, hand-picked.
Nestled in the northern hills of Palestine, Bazariya lies northwest of Nablus, perched among valleys and gentle slopes that have carried olive trees for centuries. The village traces its roots back to the Byzantine era, its soil layered with traces of every civilization that passed — Ottoman, British, Jordanian, and now under occupation.
Generations here have shaped a culture tied deeply to the land. Olive trees mark the rhythm of life — their branches stand through seasons of challenge, their fruits pressed into the golden oil that has sustained families for hundreds of years. From these groves comes an olive oil that captures the endurance and quiet pride of this small northern village.

Concept: The bottle design features a net-like silhouette of a dried cactus — a prickly pear form often seen in Aya’s work. Bazariya, like this cactus, continues to live and bear fruit through harsh seasons and adversity. The pattern honors the strength of this land and the people who keep it alive.
Pairing suggestions: Palestinian Zaatar, fresh bread, roasted vegetables, or our Early Harvest Burin for contrast.
Serving Suggestion: Drizzle over warm roasted carrots, toss through salad greens, or finish grilled dishes to bring out its greeny, tangy notes.
