You’ve Never Cooked With Oil Like This — Until Now
At Olive Odyssey, we search across Palestine for the kinds of olive oil you can’t find on a shelf. Oils made from ancient trees, personal land, and farmers who’ve worked the soil with their own hands — not for commerce, but for continuity.
This Jenin bottle is exactly that. Pressed from Rumi olives grown by a farmer whose family has cultivated this land for over 150 years, it reflects everything that makes Palestinian olive oil unlike anything else: hand-harvesting, natural farming, and knowledge passed down through generations.
He personally planted these trees. He harvests them alongside his brothers. He presses them just hours after picking. You could never access this kind of oil without someone to guide you there.
That’s where we come in.
And now, so do you.
Because when you cook with this oil, you’re not just elevating your meals — you’re stepping into a story. One that begins in the hills of Jenin, and continues at your table.
You Weren’t There for the Harvest — But You’re Here Now.

Mohammed Zein Al-Dein
He has worked the land since he was a boy, following the footsteps of his father and grandfather before him. For over 150 years, his family has made their living by tending olive groves across Jenin — planting, harvesting, and pressing with methods passed down through generations. Today, he farms his own land, where he personally planted every tree, using natural companion planting to keep the soil alive and the olives healthy. His commitment is simple but rare: no shortcuts, no chemicals, just patience, skill, and deep respect for the trees. From groves that overlook the dividing wall toward Rumana and Umm al-Fahm, he produces an olive oil that carries the spirit of Jenin — resilient, rooted, and enduring.
