I've been trying to level up my Palestinian cooking lately, and that's why I ordered this wonderful bundle of yums. I haven't used the grains yet, but hadn't even heard of freekeh before, so now I'm excited to try making something with it! And making Mujudara the Palesinian way is coming soon. But I have tried the olive oil (fantastic to dress my hummus! My adult son just adores it and can tell the difference in taste from the Palestinian EVOO and others). The sumac is amazing - fresh, lemony with a hint of heat, perfect for salad dressings and I'm sure more recipes that use it are coming my way! And the za'atar is brilliant - also fresh, with perfect flavor. So many other store-bought za'atars have a hint of stale flavor, but there isn't a trace of that here. I'm not surprised this bundle sold out! And I will be delighted to send a picture of my first freekeh dish once I've made it. I also appreciate the recipes you've made available to us. I've been working from recipes found at falasteenifoodie.com but I think I'm ready to start playing with yours now.
