Why these together

For people who like their oil bold. Nassar Darawshi pressed his Suri olives three weeks early, on September 26, in Iksal, near Nazareth: green and fruity, herbal on the tongue, peppery at the end. Nine days later, on October 5, the Rumi olives from the Zahran brothers' terraces in Dier Abu Mash'al were pressed: rich and well balanced, with a softer pepper. Two villages, two olive varieties, both bold. Pour the Early Suri raw over a tomato salad or a plate of hummus, and keep the Dier Abu Mash'al for bread, labneh and a bowl of rice and lentils.
