Anza Early Harvest Rumi Cold Pressed: Robust [Harvest 2025]
500ml (16.9 fl oz) | Cold-pressed in steel drums
Bright, green, and intensely fresh, this early-season Rumi olive oil comes from the hills of Anza, a small Palestinian village where farming is a shared community craft. Produced by the Anza Agricultural Cooperative Society, the oil is certified organic and hand-harvested with the collective care of dozens of local families who preserve traditional farming methods generation after generation.
Each bottle features a collaborative design with Trashy Clothing, centered around a hand-embroidered piece created by women refugees from Gaza in Jerash. Their embroidery—photographed, framed, and integrated into the label: brings Palestinian craft directly into the visual identity of the bottle. It is a piece of culture you can cook with, share, and keep.

Hashim Barahma has farmed the olive groves of 'Anza his whole life. The village sits near Jenin in the northern West Bank, surrounded by stone terraces and trees that have been in the ground for centuries. Some of those trees belong to his family. Some he tends through the Anza Agricultural Cooperative Society, which he works with to keep the land producing and the harvest reaching people beyond the village.
He grows Rumi; a variety native to the northern West Bank, known for its intensity, its peppery finish, and its high polyphenol content when picked early. Hashim harvests at peak green, before the olives fully ripen, pressing the same day to lock in everything the fruit has to offer.
This bottle is his harvest. Nothing added, nothing blended.
Anza is a small Palestinian village located southwest of Jenin in the northern West Bank. Home to just under 2,000 people, the village sits on 4,740 dunams of land, with nearly a quarter dedicated to olive orchards—making olives and oil central to its identity.
Anza has been inhabited for centuries, with archaeological findings from the Byzantine, early Muslim, and Medieval periods. Historically, it was noted for its hillside location, stone-built homes, fresh wells, and thriving olive groves.
Throughout the Ottoman, British Mandate, and Jordanian eras, Anza remained a close-knit farming community. Today, under the Palestinian Authority (Area B), it continues to uphold a strong agricultural tradition, with local families and cooperatives preserving organic, heritage-based olive farming practices.

The bottle’s label centers a photographic frame of a hand embroidered piece created by a team of women embroiderers from the Gaza Camp in Jerash, Jordan, made specifically for this collaboration. This embroidery is integrated to bring regional craft directly into the bottle’s visual identity.
