The Farmer & the Land
This olive oil comes from Marda village, and from one farmer, Jalal Kufash.
Together with his sons, brothers, and their families, he works the land year-round; tending the trees, harvesting by hand, and pressing each season’s olives with care.
Jalal is also the imam of the mosque in Marda. For him, caring for the land is part of his faith; a way of honoring what has been entrusted to him, season after season.
