Mustafa Turabi owns and operates a production center in Sarra village near Nablus. Known across Palestine as a master engineer of olive oil production, he has helped establish over 50 presses throughout the country. Working alongside his sons, he built a space where farmers from distant regions bring their harvests for pressing â drawn by his reputation for precision and quality. Mustafaâs approach blends technical mastery with deep respect for the land, ensuring each drop reflects the best of the season.
Farming Method: Organic practices, traditional methods, rain-fed, hand-picked.
Sarra lies just west of Nablus, surrounded by rolling hills and fertile groves that have sustained generations. The villageâs roots trace back to Roman times, its name appearing in Ottoman and British records as a center of agriculture â especially olives. Springs once fed the terraces that still climb its hillsides, where families have tended trees for centuries.
Despite long years of political control and hardship, Sarra remains a place where olive trees define life. Each harvest is both labor and celebration â the pressing season filling the air with the scent of Nabali olives, linking the present to ancient tradition.

âFor the label, I wanted to highlight the shared agricultural heritage of Palestine and Sudan, two nations deeply rooted in the land, both facing struggles that attempt to sever that connection. Both olive oil and sesame are at the centre of daily life and tradition, from sustenance to self-care. The design depicts a woman seated among these plants, grounded and defiant, claiming her place in an act of quiet strength â tending to herself and her land at once.â
Pairing Suggestions: Fresh bread, tomato salad, roasted vegetables, or grilled chicken.
Serving Suggestion: Use as a finishing oil for vibrant, peppery depth â perfect for drizzling over roasted dishes or dipping warm pita straight from the oven.
